Cameroon-Based Property Representation

Donald Akumbu Muffih - Property Acquisition & Development

“I am delighted to write about the incredible achievement of Probity Property Services on my Yaounde property project. I was initially skeptical about handing such a massive project to them, but when I heard of their exploits on other projects I decided to give them a try. It was also easy for me to hire a construction company to handle the project but who supervises the company and manage the finances was the issue. Claude and his company managed the acquisition and transformation of the property, a project which finally costed about 145 Million FCFA. The process which ended beautifully lasted about 4 months. Today the old property is providing for me a home and a 7-room shortlet apartment which was masterminded and set up by Probity. After setting up, they managed the property for 1 year. The most wonderful things about Claude are his integrity, attention to details, great sense of taste and strict management of financial resources. It was difficult even for me to decide to spending decisions without needing to convince him enough on how that will bring the best value for the money. After my project I have recommended them for two other projects already, both of which they have executed satisfactorily. Cameroon needs people like Claude. I imagine that if I had to struggle with the complex processes and difficult technicians all alone, I would surely have abandoned the project. I recommend the services of Probity to anyone reading this. I have no doubts they will deliver on their promise.”

“Kadzem is a junior brother and colleague. I knew him when he was quite young. Then we both joined the same organization when we worked together again for few years. During those years I saw a trust-worthy, focused and diligent professional in him. He was so dedicated in his role, coordinating the health care infrastructure development project funded by the french development agency. At the end of the project he was reassigned to manage one of our newly created facilities in Yaounde. Time came when I badly needed land in Yaounde and did not know how to go about it. I checked a few colleagues and one of them asked me to contact Claude to assist me. As soon as I got to him and expressed my need, he went to work and later shared with me a beautifully situated property at a very affordable cost. Fast forward to today, I am a proud owner of 3 properties which I acquired through his help. I did not pay him for this assistance. But he has continued to protect the properties for me. I am aware that Claude has assisted many friends and colleagues to own properties in Cameroon. He now does this under his company - Probity Property Services. I can recommend him anytime to anyone because I trust him. There is no limit to what this company will achieve while providing value to Cameroonians.”

Tewuh Fomunyam - Yaounde (Land Acquisition)

“In March 2023, I contacted Claude, my friend from Childhood, to assist me find land in Yaounde. I was working in Garoua at the time and living there with my family. We had heard countless stories of land grabbing, double selling and encroachment. Claude in his usual confident manner assured us that he will assist us find credible land. A few days later he informed us of property and I sent my father to check it out. My father was so pleased with the location and topography. He was particularly comfortable with the way he saw Claude insisting on certain details with the land owners. Claude went on to hire a Lawyer to go for verifications at the land registry and together they had meetings with the family of the owner. Finally we had the green light from him and went on to pay for the property. He then went on to assist me with follow up for the land title. I got the title within few months of follow up with a Notary. Today I am carrying out projects on the land while planning to build and there has never been a moment when I was worried about the ownership of the land since I paid for it. Claude did all this free of charge for me as a friend. Claude has founded Probity Property Services, a company that is assisting many busy and distant Cameroonians acquire and develop property in Cameroon. I am not surprised he is doing this and I am convinced the company will thrive under his leadership.”

“Claude has been a trusted friend and colleague since 2013. We supervised projects together for over 5 years and then our new responsibilities separated us in 2018 when he moved over to Yaoundé and I later moved to Maroua. In 2023 I saw the need to own land in Yaoundé and there was just one person I thought of calling - Claude. I trusted his integrity, sense of judgement, attention to details and due diligence nature of work. I contacted him and he assisted me buy a 1,000 meters square land at a price that was quite affordable. All through the process, I didn't have to move from Maroua at all. He did all the verifications and paid for the land on my behalf. Since then, I have never received a call to question my ownership of the land. He has continued to assist me in ensuring that the land is occupied and protected. The most amazing part of all this is that I have never had to pay him anything for all these. I seize this opportunity to thank him for what he did for me and my family. Today Claude runs Probity Property Services that provides similar services. I am confident that as long as Claude is at the helm of affairs of this company, it will deliver 100% on its promises to its clients.”

Rev. Oliver - Land Acquisition

“I am called Rev. Ngwa Oliver. I live in Yaounde with my family. In 2023 just after I moved to Yaoundé, I jointly bought a 500 meters square property with my brother-in-law, through the help of Mr Kadzem. Initially I was scared of falling into the hands of scammers. So I had no thoughts of getting a land in Yaoundé. Then a colleague spoke to me about how he got his land in Yaoundé and after I expressed my worries, he informed me that Mr Kadzem had assisted him and do same for me. I contacted Mr Kadzem and he took time to explain the entire process to me with so much clarity that dispelled all my worries. He offered to help me and I took the offer. I spoke with my in-law who had also been searching. We decided to go in for the property. So together with Mr Kadzem, we met with the land owners where he asked all the necessary questions. This was followed by verifications of documents at the land registry. When it was the day for payment, he accompanied us and ensured all necessary documents were signed. I am so grateful for the assistance Mr Kadzem gave us. He did not only assist us getting the land but also ensured we got it at a price lower than what others around there were getting. I have been farming the parcel since then and I have had no intruder come around to make ownership claims.”

“I live in Douala with my family. Owning land in Yaoundé had never been in my plan until my brother, Claude encouraged me to do so. I reluctantly agreed. He talked about a parcel of land close to where he had bought some for himself and encouraged me to go for it. I requested for him to do all the follow up and let me know when he was sure that the land is genuine. He did so and invited me to Yaoundé. I fell in love with the site immediately I saw it. I had initially planned to get just 500 meters square. As I saw it, I decided to go for 1,000 meters square since there were a few available parcels to grab. I went back to Douala to prepare and send money to acquire the parcel. As I reflected further on what I saw, I had another change of mind to go for 1,500 meters square instead of just the 1,000. However I was not financially buoyant to pay for all the 1,500 at once. Claude negotiated and I paid in installments within 6 months. Today I have no regrets that I bought that property. The value has increased by 50% in just 2 years. I am so grateful that Claude made this whole process so easy for me. Even though I am still based in Douala, I have no worries about the security of my land in Yaoundé because even after getting the property, he has assisted me to secure it. Claude is now doing this as a company and as someone of integrity that I know him to be, I am certain he is going to assist a lot of Cameroonians own property without being victims of fraud. Keep up! Claude”
